  • 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM
  • Hours/Day: 8-hour shifts
  • Weekend Requirements: Rotating weekends
  • On-Call Requirements: Yes, discussed at the interview
  • Hourly Rate: $29.00 - $30.00 with shift differential after 3:00 PM

Job Summary:

The Radiologic Technologist will be responsible for providing mobile diagnostic imaging and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other various facilities. The ideal candidate will perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment and provide high-quality imaging services with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and process X-rays using portable DR or CR radiography equipment and submit/transmit the images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
  • Perform EKGs as needed and transmit results to a Cardiologist for interpretation.
  • Safely transport and unload portable X-ray equipment into various healthcare facilities.
  • Ensure that high-quality, clinically diagnostic, and technically competent X-ray images are obtained.
  • Regularly communicate with dispatch, management, and clients in a professional manner.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure it remains in excellent working condition.
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain patient privacy at all times.
  • Manage and scan exam-related paperwork and billing documents per protocol.

Physical Demands:

This role requires lifting and transporting mobile radiography equipment weighing between 50-100 lbs. When using ramps and pulleys, this weight is reduced, but pushing/pulling up to 50 lbs of force can still occur frequently throughout the day.

Certification Requirements:

  • ARRT certification required
  • West Virginia State License required
  • Limited License not accepted
