Salary: $72,800 (based on a 40-hour work week)

Job Overview:



You will provide mobile diagnostic ultrasound services in various nursing homes, healthcare facilities, home care settings, prisons, and processing sites across the Bay Area. This position involves driving to different locations and performing general and vascular ultrasound exams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform and process ultrasounds using portable sonographic equipment and submit images for radiologist interpretation.
  • Drive to assigned facilities and unload portable ultrasound equipment.
  • Ensure all patient orders are accurate, perform patient identification using two identifiers, and work professionally with facility staff.
  • Follow company dress code, wear a company-provided name tag, and carry a company-provided phone for urgent communication.
  • Participate in training, scan exam-related paperwork, and regularly communicate with peers, management, and clients.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure safety compliance, including annual TB screenings and infection control training.
  • Assist in training new technologists as needed.

Physical Demands:

  • Lifting the equipment bag requires 18-20 pounds of force. Equipment is transported using a wheeled cart, which requires up to 10 pounds of initiating force and sustained force of 5 to 8 pounds.

Job Requirements:

  • Registered with ARDMS or CCI for vascular ultrasound.
  • Must hold ARDMS credentials for RVT and RDMS (General and Vascular Certified).
  • Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
  • Maintain required certifications, health requirements, and operational standards.
  • Must maintain a valid drivers license.
  • COVID-19 vaccination required or proper exemption documentation.
