We continue our expansion with a new state-of-the-art patient tower, we are seeking a dedicated Wound Care Registered Nurse to join our team in Round Rock, Texas. Job Description:

The Wound Care RN will specialize in assessing, treating, and monitoring patients with wound care needs, including those with chronic wounds, surgical incisions, and acute injuries. This position requires a compassionate approach and a high level of clinical expertise in wound management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess patient conditions and develop individualized plans of care for complex wound management.
  • Implement appropriate wound care treatment strategies and monitor outcomes, adjusting care plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on wound care processes, prevention, and management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to advance wound care practices and patient outcomes.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

Education:

  • Associate's degree in Nursing required; Bachelors degree in Nursing preferred.

Experience:

  • Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, with a strong background in wound care.

Certifications:

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
