Job Title: CT Technologist

Location: Irving, Texas

Shift: Variable - Mon and Tues (7:00 AM - 7:30 PM), Wed (9:00 AM - 9:30 PM)

Hours: 36 hours per week (12-hour shifts)

Hourly Rate: $33 - $48 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $10,000 (for external applicants)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled CT Technologist to join our healthcare team in Irving, Texas. In this role, you will perform high-quality CT procedures following established protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort. You will work closely with the medical team to assist in diagnostic imaging and provide exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT procedures based on exam protocols in a timely manner
  • Use AIDET communication to ensure clear communication with patients and their families
  • Prepare the patient and procedure area by properly positioning and adjusting equipment
  • Adhere to safety protocols, including infection control, radiation policies, and sterile techniques
  • Maintain and report equipment and work area to meet quality and cleanliness standards
  • Ensure all relevant documentation such as patient history, consent forms, and imaging records are complete and accurate
  • Provide care to patients across various age groups, including newborns, pediatrics, young adults, adults, and geriatrics
  • Serve as a preceptor to train new team members on procedures and protocols
  • Be available to take call if required

Qualifications:

  • Must be certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists in Computed Tomography (CT)
  • Additional certification in Radiography (ARRT-R), Nuclear Medicine (ARRT-N), or Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) required
  • Ability to work autonomously and maintain professionalism under stress
  • Strong communication skills to interact with patients and staff effectively
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer
