Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - PCU/IMC

Location: Albuquerque, NM

Shift: 12-Hour Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Shifts Per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week (3 shifts per week)

Hourly Rate: $42.90

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) PCU/IMC to join our team for a full-time night shift position. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide patient-centered care, assess and monitor patient conditions, collaborate with the healthcare team, and ensure that patient care is delivered in accordance with established protocols and practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care based on patient needs and clinical standards.
  • Monitor patients' conditions, administer medications, and perform treatments as necessary.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary healthcare team.
  • Document patient care accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Adhere to safety standards and infection control practices.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care for patients.
  • Provide emotional support and education to patients and their families.

Requirements:

  • Minimum: Associates Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
  • Desired: Bachelors Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
  • Valid New Mexico Nursing License or NM compact license (must be obtained within 90 days of hire).
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
  • ACLS and/or PALS certifications may be required depending on the hiring department.
  • Preferred: Two (2) years of nursing experience in specialty and two (2) years of general nursing experience.
