Scheduled Hours: 40 hours
Hourly Rate: $33.94 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist for full-time mid shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, and delivering excellent customer service. This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic results.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform radiologic procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
- Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
- Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of images in accordance with departmental policies.
- Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and oneself.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
- Provide patient education regarding procedures and answer any questions or concerns.
- Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of radiology equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain certification and licensure as required by the role.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
- Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- If registry eligible at the time of hire, must become ARRT registered within one year of employment.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience working as a Radiologic Technologist.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
