Shift: 8 HR Mids (12:00 PM - 8:00 PM)

Shifts Per Week: 5

Scheduled Hours: 40 hours

Hourly Rate: $33.94 per hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiologic Technologist for full-time mid shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic imaging procedures, ensuring the safety and comfort of patients, and delivering excellent customer service. This role provides an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, where you will collaborate with a team of healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnostic results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform radiologic procedures in accordance with established protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate radiologic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images for physician interpretation.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
  • Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation of images in accordance with departmental policies.
  • Adhere to radiation safety protocols to protect patients, staff, and oneself.
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to ensure accurate and timely imaging results.
  • Provide patient education regarding procedures and answer any questions or concerns.
  • Maintain cleanliness and proper functioning of radiology equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and maintain certification and licensure as required by the role.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
  • Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • If registry eligible at the time of hire, must become ARRT registered within one year of employment.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a Radiologic Technologist.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
