Hourly High Bill Rate: $45.45
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist to join our team and split their time between an Outpatient setting (50%) and Acute Care (50%). You will assess and treat patients with physical impairments, help them restore mobility, and prevent disability. This position involves providing education, working with therapy assistants, and participating in the overall care team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform initial and ongoing assessments of patients' conditions.
- Develop, revise, and evaluate a plan of care that addresses the patients specific needs.
- Execute therapy interventions using standard physical therapy techniques and approaches based on the patients condition.
- Supervise physical therapy assistants, students, and other support staff as needed.
- Provide education to patients, families, and staff to ensure the achievement of treatment goals.
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation of patient progress and personal records.
- Participate in performance improvement processes related to departmental and site functions.
- Assist with the selection of new team members and contribute to peer reviews when necessary.
- Participate in the "on-call" rotation as required.

Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy
- Licensed to practice Physical Therapy in the state of Texas (or must be obtained prior to hire)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy
- Two (2) years of experience as a Physical Therapist
