Job Title: Electrophysiology Technologist (EP Tech)
Location: Fort Walton Beach, FL
Schedule: 5x8 Hour Day Shift with Rotating Weekends
Hourly Pay Range:

    • Entry Level: $27/hr
    • Mid-Level (5 years): $33/hr
    • Max (10+ years): $36/hr

Shift Differentials:

    • Nights: +$3/hr
    • Holidays: Time and a half

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000
Relocation Assistance: Case-by-case basis



Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electrophysiology (EP) Technologist to join a cardiovascular team that supports electrophysiology studies, ablations, and device implant procedures. In this role, you'll work closely with physicians to perform and monitor advanced cardiac procedures, operating specialized equipment to deliver high-quality patient care. This position is best suited for candidates with recent acute care EP Tech experience and relevant credentials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare equipment and assist physicians in performing electrophysiology procedures.
  • Monitor patient condition during procedures, ensuring accurate documentation and high-quality care.
  • Maintain sterile technique and support the interventional cardiology team throughout the case.
  • Operate and troubleshoot EP lab equipment, recording systems, and monitoring tools.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Assist with post-procedure recovery and equipment reprocessing as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1 year of recent EP Tech experience in an acute care setting required
  • Associate Degree required
  • BLS certification (within 30 days of hire)
  • ACLS certification (within 90 days of hire)
  • One of the following credentials required:
    • Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist (RCES)
    • ARRT (R) with Florida State Radiologic Technologist license
