Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled General Surgeon to join a dynamic surgical team in a full-time, permanent position. This opportunity offers the chance to work in a supportive environment with advanced surgical technology and a dedicated patient population. The ideal candidate will have experience in general surgery and a strong interest in robotic-assisted surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform a variety of general surgical procedures, including robotic-assisted surgeries using the da Vinci Xi system.
• Collaborate with a team of two other experienced general surgeons.
• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care across all age groups.
• Participate in community health education and outreach as needed.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in accordance with established protocols.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Base Salary: $450,000 (guaranteed for two years)
• Incentives: Productivity-based bonuses available
• Loan Repayment: Eligible for National Health Service Corps and Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) programs
• Signing Bonus & Relocation Assistance: Generous packages available
• Benefits: Comprehensive health insurance, retirement plan with a 6% annual retirement contribution (403(b), no match), paid time off, and a Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance

Work Schedule:

• Full-time, permanent position
• On-call schedule: 10 days per month, including at least one weekend per month and two holidays per year
• Must be able to respond within 45 minutes when on call
• No overnight in-house coverage required; ER providers respond to Code Blue situations

Qualifications:

• Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) from an accredited institution
• Board-certified or board-eligible in General Surgery
• Eligible for medical licensure in the state of Missouri
• Experience or interest in robotic-assisted surgery using the da Vinci Xi system (preferred)
