Location: Taylor, TX
Shift: Variable Shift, Full Time (Nights: 11 PM - 7 AM Friday, 7 PM - 7 AM Saturday and Sunday)
Shifts Per Week: 4 shifts per week
Scheduled Hours: 32 hours per week
Hourly Pay: $25 - $36 per hour
Sign-On Bonus: $15,000 (paid in 3 installments within 18 months)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Multimodality Technologist to join our radiology team in Taylor, TX. This position will provide the opportunity to perform both CT and X-ray imaging in a night shift role. You will work in a fast-paced environment with a supportive team and will be instrumental in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality multimodality procedures, including CT and X-ray, according to exam protocols.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of imaging procedures, adhering to established standards.
- Communicate with patients and families to provide clear explanations of the procedure and ensure their comfort.
- Prepare the patient and procedure area, positioning the patient correctly and adjusting equipment controls for optimal exposure factors.
- Adhere to safety protocols, infection control, and radiation policies to protect patients and employees.
- Maintain equipment and ensure cleanliness and operational functionality.
- Collaborate with engineers and physicists to optimize equipment performance.
- Screen individuals entering the department according to approved policies.
- Accurately maintain medical imaging records and ensure timely documentation for interpretation.

Qualifications:
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (within 30 days of hire or transfer).
- Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT).
- Certified by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in CT and Radiography (R) or certified in two imaging modalities.
- Additional Certifications (preferred): ARRT-Bone Density, ARRT-Mammography, ARRT-Sonography, or Nuclear Medicine certification.
