Shift: 12-Hour Days (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), Full-Time
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $38.79 - $56.74 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) - Cardiovascular Cath Lab to join our dedicated team in Anchorage, AK. As a highly-skilled and compassionate Cath Lab Nurse, you will assist with invasive cardiac, vascular, and interventional procedures. The ideal candidate will demonstrate clinical competency, nursing judgment, and a commitment to providing top-quality patient care. You will work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to ensure a positive patient care experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with all procedures in the Cath Lab, including cardiac catheterizations, coronary interventions, EP device and ablation therapies, interventional radiology, neuro diagnostics/interventions, endovascular procedures, and structural heart procedures (e.g., LAAC, TAVR).
- Facilitate effective communication among the healthcare team to provide a collaborative approach to patient care.
- Assist patients throughout the procedure, including preparation, sterile procedure, monitoring, and post-procedure care.
- Manage emergent cases and ensure accurate, timely, and compliant patient records.
- Collaborate with fellow team members, providing orientation and support as needed.
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nursing (RN) license in good standing.
- Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing required; Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of Cath Lab experience, or 5 years of experience in a high-acuity setting such as ICU.
- Experience with circulating, monitoring, and sedation medication, including mixing sedation drips.
- Certifications:
- Basic Life Support (BLS/BCLS) certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (American Red Cross or American Heart Association).
