Salary: $25 to $36 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Multimodality Technologist to join our team at a satellite cardiac outpatient clinic. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Nuclear Medicine Technology and CT, providing essential imaging services that support the diagnosis and treatment of cardiac conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality imaging procedures in Nuclear Medicine and CT according to established protocols.
- Prepare patients and imaging areas, ensuring all safety and quality standards are met.
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns to ease patient anxiety.
- Maintain equipment and work areas, adhering to cleanliness and safety standards.
- Manage documentation and imaging records in compliance with department policies and standards.
- Participate in maintaining supply inventory and report any equipment issues to management.
- Screen patients according to approved policies and procedures to ensure safety within the department.
Essential Functions:
- Deliver timely, high-quality multimodality imaging services.
- Use proper sterile techniques when setting up and performing invasive procedures.
- Adhere to safety, infection control, drug, and radiation policies and protocols.
- Provide training to new team members and serve as a preceptor for new services and initiatives.

Qualifications:
- Graduate from an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Licensed by the State of Texas as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT), with additional certifications in two imaging modalities.
- Certifications could include ARRT or RDMS in applicable modalities.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Experience in multimodality imaging, particularly in Nuclear Medicine and CT, is highly preferred.
