Schedule: 4 shifts per week, 40 hours total (10 hour shifts)
Hourly Rate: $33 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our dynamic imaging team. This position requires performing high-quality radiology procedures while working in a variety of settings including the Emergency Department, inpatient, outpatient, and surgical environments. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, skilled in patient care, and dedicated to providing exceptional service to both patients and healthcare providers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform high-quality radiologic procedures according to exam protocols in a timely manner.
- Use AIDET communication techniques to ensure a positive patient experience and provide clear instructions before procedures.
- Prepare the patient and necessary equipment for radiology procedures, adjusting settings and positioning the patient as needed.
- Follow safety protocols, including infection control, radiation safety, and proper use of equipment.
- Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of imaging equipment and ensure prompt reporting of any equipment malfunctions.
- Assist in maintaining inventory and restocking supplies as necessary.
- Accurately document all relevant patient information, imaging records, and follow required procedures for documentation and record keeping.
Required Certifications:
- ARRT (R): Registered Radiologic Technologist
- MRT Texas: Licensed by the State of Texas Medical Board
