Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Clinical Coordinator
Location: Claremont, NH
Shift Type: Nights
Shift Times: 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM
Hours/Day: 12 hours
Salary Range: $35.40/hour - $46.75/hour
Job Overview:
As a Clinical Coordinator, you will support the day-to-day clinical and administrative operations of the unit, ensuring best practices are followed and regulations are adhered to. You will be responsible for overseeing patient care, coordinating staff assignments, and serving as a primary resource for the nursing staff on the floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Function as a clinical/staff RN with occasional patient assignments (1-3 patients).
- Perform charge nurse duties, including overseeing LPN, RN, and LNA practice and delegating care as needed.
- Coordinate employee breaks, create nursing assignments, and adjust based on patient acuity, discharges, and admissions.
- Assist LPNs, RNs, and LNAs with patient care and follow up on lab/diagnostic test results, referrals, and consultations with departments such as pharmacy, lab, and radiology.
- Communicate concerns regarding employee performance to the Nurse Manager and manage in-the-moment conflicts.
- Monitor charting for timely and accurate documentation.
- Serve as the house supervisor and main resource during off shifts (nights, weekends, holidays), communicating bed availability and facilitating patient transfers.
- Coordinate with other hospitals regarding bed availability for patient transfers to and from Valley Regional Hospital.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 3-5 years of relevant clinical experience required.
- Charge RN experience preferred.
- Licensure: Active New Hampshire RN Licensure required at submission (Compact License allowed).
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support): Required (must be uploaded with profile).
