Shifts Per Week: 5

Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week

Hourly Pay: $50.58

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Occupational Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will assess patients conditions, develop individualized treatment plans, and help them improve their ability to perform daily activities. You will work in collaboration with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care and maintain clear, concise documentation of patient progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform occupational therapy assessments using techniques that align with the patients diagnosis.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on evaluation findings.
  • Provide detailed and timely documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress reports, and discharge summaries within established timelines.
  • Collaborate with clinical support staff, mentor new professionals, and provide guidance to students and volunteers involved in patient care.
  • Participate in departmental performance improvement initiatives and clinical program development.
  • Complete basic occupational therapy competencies as well as any department-specific training.
  • Meet productivity expectations as per your assigned level of care and FTE status.
  • Utilize support staff and departmental resources efficiently, following departmental guidelines.
  • Maintain open communication with internal and external customers, ensuring that information is understood and shared appropriately.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks and cooperate with supervisors, peers, other departments, and customer groups to demonstrate a commitment to excellent service.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current Occupational Therapy Licensure (or licensure eligibility) in the state of Kansas.
  • CPR certification.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy.
  • One year of experience in an occupational therapy or related healthcare environment.
