Job Title: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)
Location: Aspermont, TX
Schedule: 8-Hour Day Shifts (5-6 Days per Week)
Hourly Pay Range: $50 - $60/hr (based on experience)
Relocation Support:

• Facility housing available at $10/day until permanent housing is secured
• Potential access to future rent house options

Position Summary:

Join a collaborative care team as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) in a rural health setting. You will support the rehabilitation and recovery of patients in both long-term care and outpatient therapy environments. • 53-bed Skilled Nursing Facility
• Outpatient Therapy Clinic
• 20-bed Critical Access Hospital

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide patient-centered occupational therapy services under the supervision of an OT
• Work across multiple care settings including long-term care and outpatient
• Help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working
• Document treatment plans and progress in compliance with regulatory standards
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications:

• Certification: National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)
• Licensure: Active Texas state license required at time of submission
• Experience: Long-term care experience preferred
• Other: Strong communication and patient engagement skills
