Position Title: Physical Therapist
Location: Temple, TX
Shift Details:
- Shift: 12 HR Days
- Shift Per Week: 3
- Scheduled Hours: 36
- Shift Start Time: 07:00 AM
- Shift End Time: 07:00 PM
Compensation:
- Minimum Rate Per Hour: $32
- Maximum Rate Per Hour: $53
- Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Essential Functions of the Role:
- Patient Care: Evaluates, treats, and monitors patients, modifying therapy programs and goals as needed.
- Documentation: Performs thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner and enters charges accurately, with an understanding of reimbursement related to the practice setting.
- Communication: Effectively communicates with patients, families, departmental coworkers, and members of the medical care team. Provides education to patients, family members, and staff.
- Supervision: Supervises ancillary staff, students, and volunteers.
- Clinical Skills: Advances clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review, and the implementation of evidence-based practice.
- Knowledge Sharing: Dispenses knowledge to develop the clinical skills of colleagues while adhering to organizational, national, and state regulatory guidelines.
- Goal Alignment: Maintains awareness of system goals and aligns personal goals and work activities to uphold or impact these goals.

- Communication Skills: Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to relate professionally and positively to patients, family members, and facility staff.

- Technical Skills: Possesses proficient computer knowledge, operates multiple computer systems, and utilizes standard rehabilitation equipment effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Multitasking: Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a high level of productivity.

Qualifications:
- Education: Masters degree or Bachelors degree plus 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of experience required.
- Certification/License:
- Physical Therapist (PT)
- Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS certification or must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
