Position Title: Physical Therapist

Location: Temple, TX

Shift Details:

  • Shift: 12 HR Days
  • Shift Per Week: 3
  • Scheduled Hours: 36
  • Shift Start Time: 07:00 AM
  • Shift End Time: 07:00 PM

Compensation:

  • Minimum Rate Per Hour: $32
  • Maximum Rate Per Hour: $53
  • Sign-On Bonus: $5,000

Essential Functions of the Role:

  • Patient Care: Evaluates, treats, and monitors patients, modifying therapy programs and goals as needed.
  • Documentation: Performs thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner and enters charges accurately, with an understanding of reimbursement related to the practice setting.
  • Communication: Effectively communicates with patients, families, departmental coworkers, and members of the medical care team. Provides education to patients, family members, and staff.
  • Supervision: Supervises ancillary staff, students, and volunteers.
  • Clinical Skills: Advances clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review, and the implementation of evidence-based practice.
  • Knowledge Sharing: Dispenses knowledge to develop the clinical skills of colleagues while adhering to organizational, national, and state regulatory guidelines.
  • Goal Alignment: Maintains awareness of system goals and aligns personal goals and work activities to uphold or impact these goals.

  • Multitasking: Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a high level of productivity.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Masters degree or Bachelors degree plus 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
  • Experience: Less than 1 year of experience required.
  • Certification/License:
  • Physical Therapist (PT)
  • Basic Life Support (BLS): BLS certification or must be obtained within 30 days of hire or transfer.
