- Minimum Rate Per Hour: $36
- Maximum Rate Per Hour: $45.11
Work Schedule:
- Shift: Full-Time Nights
- Shift Hours: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM
- Days Per Week: 3 shifts (36 hours per week)

Essential Functions:
- Respiratory Care Services: Perform and direct respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, inhaled medication, airway clearance, and both invasive and non-invasive ventilation, in partnership with attending physicians and care teams.
- Emergency Response: Administer cardiopulmonary resuscitation in emergency situations.
- Policy Adherence: Follow established infection control, isolation policies, HIPAA, and other relevant policies.
- Professionalism: Work collaboratively and professionally with peers and patients to maintain an optimal work environment.
- Autonomy & Growth: Embrace opportunities for skill enhancement and professional development.
- Quality Improvement: Focus on continuous quality improvement in clinical care, identifying and sharing opportunities to enhance patient care.
Key Success Factors:
- Knowledge: Broad knowledge of respiratory care modalities, therapies, equipment, and medications.
- Critical Thinking: Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Communication: Ability to read, write, and follow flow chart protocols effectively.
- Technical Skills: General computer skills including data entry, information security, electronic medical documentation, hand-held scanning, and email proficiency.
Qualifications:
- Education: Associate's degree or 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
- Experience: Less than 1 year of experience.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) by the State of Texas Medical Board.
- Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board for Respiratory Care.
