Position: Certified Medical Assistant
Salary Range: $22/hour (Maximum for candidates with extensive experience)

Shift Times: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Shift Notes: Full-time, day shift positions, with M-F schedules. We are looking for 1 CMA for Monadnock Family Care or Internal Medicine
Overview:
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) performs clinical support procedures under the supervision of the Office Nurse or Physician. The CMA is expected to maintain a professional appearance, handle stressful situations with a calm demeanor, and possess a caring nature. Due to the nature of patient care, emotional stability is essential. The CMA must keep confidential all matters related to the practice, employees, and patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws, injections, immunizations, lab tests, and other procedures within the scope of certification.
- Assist physicians in examinations, including taking vitals (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, respiration).
- Keep exam rooms clean and stocked with supplies.
- Handle patient phone calls and provide instructions as directed by the physician.
- Maintain medical records, completing referral forms, lab slips, and other documentation.
- Assist patients in getting to and from exam rooms and during procedures.
- Help with nursing procedures as directed by the physician.
- Assist in other clinical areas as required, operating within the scope of the CMA certification.
- Work effectively as part of a team.

Submission Requirments:
- At least 2 years in a formal Medical Assistant curriculum or special training for Medical Assistants - Required
- At least 3 years of relevant experience as a Medical Assistant in a medical setting - Required
- Must maintain certification as a Medical Assistant - Required
- BLS Certification (AHA) - Required
