Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Med Surg/Telemetry/Progressive Care Unit (PCU)

Location: Claremont, NH

Shift Type: Nights

Shift Times: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours/Day: 12 hours

Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend

Hourly Range: $33.90 - $45.25 (based on years of experience)

Salary Range: $70,512 - $94,120 (based on a 40-hour work week)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Med Surg/Telemetry and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) team. The RN will provide high-quality care to patients with diverse medical conditions, ensuring safety and promoting recovery through effective monitoring and intervention.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Patient Assessment: Perform comprehensive assessments of patients, monitoring vital signs and identifying changes in health status.
  • Care Planning: Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient needs and physician orders.
  • Medication Administration: Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Telemetry Monitoring: Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to significant changes, escalating concerns to the healthcare team as needed.
  • Patient Education: Provide education and support to patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment options, and discharge plans.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic health records, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with interdisciplinary teams to facilitate coordinated and effective patient care.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred; Associates degree in Nursing (ADN) accepted.
  • Experience: Previous experience in Med Surg, telemetry, or PCU preferred.
  • Certifications: Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.
