Salary Range: $28.90/hour - $46.23/hour

Sign-On Bonus: Up to $10,000 (Payment Schedule: $5,000 on first check, $2,500 after 6 months, and $2,500 after 1 year)

Job Overview:

We are urgently seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Labor & Delivery/Obstetrics Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. The RN will provide comprehensive nursing care to obstetrics patients, including laboring mothers, post-delivery care, and newborn care. You will work in an 8-bed Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) unit delivering over 350 babies annually. As part of a collaborative team, you will work closely with an established OB/GYN and pediatric group to deliver individualized and high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prescribe and coordinate professional nursing care for obstetrics patients, including laboring mothers and newborns.
  • Assess, plan, organize, supervise, provide, and evaluate nursing care using the nursing process.
  • Cross-train in all aspects of obstetrical care within the Birthing Suite.
  • Collaborate with OB/GYN and pediatric team to provide patient-centered care.
  • Support a 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio during active labor and a 1:2 or 1:3 ratio for mother/baby care.
  • Administer medications and monitor fetal and maternal health during labor and delivery.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation in the EMR system.
  • Provide personalized nursing care tailored to the patients birthing preferences and medical needs.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Previous OB/L&D experience required.
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required. BSN or higher preferred.
  • Certifications:
  • BLS (Basic Life Support): Required.
  • NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program): Required.
  • STABLE Certification: Required.
  • AWHONN Certification: Preferred.
  • Licensure: Active New Hampshire RN license required (Compact License allowed).
  • Preferred Skills: Fetal monitoring experience preferred.
