Hours: 8 hours (Full-Time, 40 hours per week)

Relocation Bonus:

  • Out of State: $20,000 payable in two installments:
  • $10,000 after the first full week of work
  • $10,000 after successful completion of six months of employment
  • In-State: $15,000 relocation bonus, payable in the same structure

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join the Medical Imaging team. In this role, you will provide clinical radiographs as directed by physicians or radiologists while ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations. You will also oversee regulatory requirements for mammography, train radiology technologists, and provide direct patient care within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform clinical radiographs in accordance with physicians or radiologists' orders and industry standards.
  • Ensure day-to-day regulatory compliance and certification requirements for mammography, in conjunction with the Director of Imaging.
  • Provide direct patient care and radiology services while adhering to local, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Mentor and train radiology technologists who are cross-training in mammography.
  • Stay current with continuing education (CEU) requirements for ARRT and mammography-specific CEU credits as required by the ACR and MQSA.

Qualifications:

  • Certification: ARRT R certification required
  • At least 18 years of age with a high school diploma or GED.
  • Successful completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technologist training course.
  • Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Must maintain ARRT registration annually.
  • Specialty Certification: Certified in ARRT specialty of Mammography required.
  • Minimum of 8 hours of digital mammography training and 8 hours of digital breast tomosynthesis training.
  • Recent experience in both Mammography and general Radiology.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, walk, stoop, and sit for prolonged periods.
