Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Location: Goodyear, AZ

Shift: Variable Shifts, 4 Days per Week, 40 Scheduled Hours

Shift Start Time: 07:00 AM

Shift End Time: 05:00 PM

Salary: $85,000 - $100,000 (Based on experience and qualifications)

Job Overview:

As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Cath Lab, you will provide professional nursing care to patients within the assigned unit, ensuring individualized, age-specific, and direct bedside nursing care based on the nursing process and patient needs. You will coordinate care planning with other healthcare disciplines and act as a supervisor, assessing, planning, delegating, and utilizing independent judgment in directing other healthcare employees for patient care provision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Systematically evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing practices to identify patient goals.
  • Provide direct patient care, develop care plans, and participate in hourly rounding.
  • Adhere to safety guidelines and safe work practices.
  • May be asked to take charge for shifts when necessary.
  • Supervise and guide other members of the healthcare team in delivering care.
  • Collaborate with other disciplines to ensure effective care planning and patient outcomes.

Special Skills:

  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with team members.
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with periods of above-average pressure.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Basic computer proficiency is required.
  • Experience in CVICU, ICU, or a minimum of 2 years in Cardiac Stepdown is strongly preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Current and valid RN license
  • BLS certification or obtain within 30 days of starting
