Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Transitional Care Unit

Location: Temple, TX

Shift: Full-Time, 12-Hour Days

Shift Start Time: 7:00 AM

Shift End Time: 7:00 PM

Shifts per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $32 - $53

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our newly launched Transitional Care Unit. This fast-paced, 10-bed unit is ideal for nurses who enjoy a dynamic work environment and thrive on providing exceptional patient care. As an RN in the Transitional Care Unit, you will work with multiple patients with a variety of care needs, monitoring and treating them within a 36-hour window. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Med/Surg RNs to expand their skills in a challenging and rewarding role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with diverse medical conditions.
  • Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to assess, plan, and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Monitor patient conditions and adjust care plans as necessary.
  • Educate patients and families on their health conditions and care plans.
  • Ensure patient safety and promote a culture of compassionate, evidence-based care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current and valid RN license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
