Location: Temple, TX

Shift: Full-Time, 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Shifts Per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week

High Bill Rate: $53

Low Bill Rate: $32

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) for our Neuro ICU team. As part of a multidisciplinary team, you will provide high-quality care to critically ill patients with neurological conditions. You will work closely with intensivists, neurologists, and neurosurgeons in a collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct detailed patient assessments, recognizing neurological conditions and formulating individualized care plans.
  • Provide compassionate patient care by building professional relationships with patients and families.
  • Educate patients and their families about treatments and care plans, fostering an environment of trust and knowledge.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to create, implement, and evaluate comprehensive care plans.
  • Maintain professional and clinical standards while using critical thinking to solve complex problems.
  • Ensure patient safety by adhering to best practices, policies, and protocols.
  • Participate in unit huddles, interdisciplinary rounds, and training initiatives to continuously improve patient outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current and valid nursing license.
  • BLS certification (or obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • Experience in critical care, particularly neuro ICU, preferred.
