Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Women's Services

Location: Brenham, TX

Shift: 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 shifts per week, 36 hours per week. Self-scheduling available.

Salary Range: $32 - $53 per hour (based on experience)

Sign-On Bonus: Now offering a $10,000 sign-on bonus to RNs with 2+ years of experience.

Job Overview:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Women's Services department, which includes antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum/couplet care. In this full-time night shift role, you will provide exceptional care to mothers and newborns, ensuring a smooth and comfortable labor, delivery, and recovery experience. You will work in labor suites and couplet care units, allowing families to remain together and promoting family-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist mothers through labor, delivery, and recovery, providing comprehensive care in labor suites.
  • Care for mothers and newborns in a couplet care environment, ensuring they receive care together, promoting education and confidence-building for new mothers.
  • Conduct detailed clinical assessments, create and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate patient responses.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
  • Educate families about post-delivery care, empowering them with the knowledge and skills needed for their new roles.
  • Monitor vital signs and provide emergency care when necessary, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current, valid RN license.
  • BLS certification required (or willing to obtain within 30 days of hire).
  • 2+ years of experience in Women's Services, including labor and delivery, postpartum, or antepartum care.
  • Strong understanding of nursing care standards, labor and delivery processes, and patient safety protocols.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
