Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) -Labor and Delivery

Location: Dallas, Texas

Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)

Shifts Per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $32 - $53

Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive care for expectant mothers during labor and delivery.
  • Monitor fetal heart rate and maternal vital signs, intervening as necessary.
  • Assist in the delivery process, ensuring safety and well-being for both mother and child.
  • Support patients and families with education on labor, delivery, and postpartum care.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including OB hospitalists and anesthesia providers, to ensure the best outcomes.
  • Maintain high patient satisfaction through compassionate and attentive care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to team-based projects.
  • Participate in emergency response situations, including the Maternal Emergency Response Team (MERT).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of one year of RN experience in Labor and Delivery, preferably at a Level III or higher facility.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current and valid RN license.
  • Required certifications: BLS (within 30 days of hire), ACLS (within 30 days of hire), and NRP (within 30 days of hire).
