Salary: Full License: $54,171 - $73,281
Limited License: $52,026 - $68,659.50

Job Overview:
The Adult Behavioral Health Therapist is responsible for providing crisis intervention and intensive case management services to adults (18+) with serious mental illness and/or co-occurring substance use disorders. This role is crucial for individuals at risk of psychiatric hospitalization or those recently discharged from inpatient facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to identify clients' needs and service preferences.
- Provide crisis intervention and facilitate engagement in treatment and recovery support services.
- Maintain an acute awareness of therapeutic activities, services, and supports available within and outside the agency.
- Coordinate services with treatment team members, including local providers and community organizations.
- Assist clients with eligibility for entitlements and community services.
- Develop Individualized Plans of Service (IPOS) with clients and treatment teams.
- Deliver face-to-face, home visits, and telehealth services based on client needs.
- Participate in community outreach to ensure access to services.
- Document all service activities promptly and adhere to productivity standards.
- Share on-call responsibilities and respond to crisis calls during scheduled hours.
- Maintain appropriate state licensure and complete required training.
- Follow the professional code of ethics and agency policies.

Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Counseling.
- State of Michigan licensure required (LLMSW, LLPC, TLLP, LMSW, LPC, or LLP).
- Minimum one year of experience working with adults diagnosed with serious mental illnesses (includes internships).
- Valid drivers license with a good driving record; must obtain a Michigan Chauffeur License within 30 days of employment.
- Ability to engage with clients and provide trauma-informed care.
- Competence in using technology and effective communication skills.
- Candidates without a state license must obtain licensure within 60 days of hire.
