Location: Frisco, TX

Shift Details: Variable Shifts, Full-Time (5 days per week, 40 hours total), 8-hour shifts with flexible start times (7:30 AM 5:30 PM).

Hourly High Bill Rate: $48

Hourly Low Bill Rate: $33

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist to join our dynamic Cath Lab team in Frisco, TX. This full-time position offers exciting career advancement opportunities with flexible day shifts and a moderate call schedule. Ideal candidates will hold either an RCIS or RCES certification, and new graduates with clinical rotations completed are encouraged to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist physicians with arteriograms, catheterizations, pacemaker implantations, defibrillators, and other cardiovascular diagnostic and interventional procedures.
  • Adhere to national and state regulations for radiation protection, safety, and infection control.
  • Provide emergency procedures such as CPR and defibrillation as needed.
  • Conduct pre- and post-procedure patient care and monitoring.
  • Operate and assist with RF/Cryo ablation systems and 3D mapping, documenting all procedural information.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed reports on catheterization data, patient monitoring, and procedural outcomes.
  • Prepare and maintain sterile environments, including the setup of surgical instruments and equipment.
  • Train and mentor new staff and students, ensuring adherence to quality control standards and procedural guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's degree or 2 years of related cardiovascular lab experience.
  • Experience: Less than 1 year of experience required; new graduates with completed clinical rotations will be considered.
  • Certifications: Must hold one of the following:
  • RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist),
  • RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist),
  • ARRT-R (Radiologic Technologist - Radiography), or
  • MRT (Medical Radiologic Technologist, licensed through TX Medical Board).
  • ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
  • BLS certification required within 30 days of hire or transfer.
