Hourly: $24.48 - $39.16
Annually: $50,918 - $81,453
Sign-On Bonus: $5,000
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our night shift team. In this role, you will provide professional nursing care to patients, ensuring the highest level of care is delivered in line with hospital policies and procedures. As a key part of the nursing team, you will float between units and care for up to six patients per shift, with the support of two Licensed Medical Assistants (LMAs) on each floor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, direct, and evaluate total nursing care and functions for assigned patients during a particular shift.
- Provide injections, vaccinations, and monitor vital signs, ensuring accurate and timely documentation using the Allscripts Paragon EMR system.
- Work collaboratively with LMAs and other nursing staff to manage patient care for up to six patients.
- Float between units as needed and assist with continuity of care across shifts.
- Participate in all phases of education, policy updates, and training for continuous professional development.
- Maintain relationships with other departments and nursing units to ensure efficient patient care delivery.
Qualifications:
- Education:
- ASN accepted; BSN preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Licensure: Active New Hampshire or Compact RN license required at submission.
- Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support - AHA): Required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): Required.
- PALS and Tele Strip Certification: Preferred.
- Experience: New graduates accepted with a temporary or active New Hampshire RN license.
- Skills: Must be comfortable with electronic medical records (EMR) and willing to float between units.
