Hours/Week: Full-time, 3 12-hour shifts

Hourly: $30.00 - $45.00

Annually: $62,400 - $93,600

Commencement Bonus: Up to $20,000

Relocation Bonus: Up to $17,500 (for candidates beyond 100 miles)

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our healthcare team. The RCP will provide high-quality respiratory care for patients of all ages in a hospital setting, adhering to the American Association for Respiratory Care (AARC) standards of practice. You will be responsible for delivering age-appropriate care to a diverse patient population, utilizing advanced respiratory equipment such as Drager ventilators and Bipap V60 systems. This is a great opportunity for both new graduates and experienced professionals, with training available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide respiratory care services to patients of all ages, adhering to hospital policies and AARC standards.
  • Administer respiratory therapies, including ventilator management, Bipap, and high-flow oxygen therapy using Vapotherm.
  • Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis using GEM technology.
  • Manage respiratory emergencies and assist in patient transports as needed, using Transport Vent Zoll.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement respiratory care plans.
  • Document patient care in the Meditech EMR system and maintain accurate records.
  • Participate in continuing education programs to stay current with best practices in respiratory care.

Qualifications:

  • Experience:
  • New graduates are welcome and will be trained.
  • 2 years of acute care hospital experience required; critical access hospital experience preferred.
  • Must be clinically independent and comfortable working with all age groups.
  • Education: Graduate from an approved and accredited program of Respiratory Care.
  • Licensure: Current New Hampshire Respiratory Care License/Registration required.
  • Certifications:
  • BLS (AHA): Required.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): Required or eligible for certification.
  • PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program): Required or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
  • Must have knowledge of evidence-based practices and techniques for respiratory care.
