Job Overview:
Join our team as a full-time Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Room at [City, State]. You will play a critical role in providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment. This role requires a compassionate and skilled nurse who can work effectively in a team while managing patients with varying levels of acuity.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, assessment, and documentation for patients presenting with a variety of complaints.
- Work in different areas of the ER based on experience and training, from triage and high-acuity sections to Express Care/fast track for lower acuity patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including emergency providers, social workers, and other medical staff, to deliver comprehensive care.
- Participate in improvement projects, shared governance, and professional development activities.
- Rotate within various areas of the ER, including trauma, primary stroke, and chest pain centers.
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Current and valid RN license in the state of [State].
- Must have BLS certification or obtain it within 30 days of employment.
- 2 years of ER nursing experience required.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
