Job Title: Physical Therapist - Outpatient

Location: San Leandro, California

Shift: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Shifts Per Week: 5

Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week

Salary Range: $85,000 - $95,000 annually

Bonuses:

  • Up to $20,000 for relocation, sign-on bonuses, and/or student loan assistance

Job Overview:

This full-time role provides the opportunity to work with a caseload of approximately 14 patients per day, Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. You will help patients achieve their rehabilitation goals through personalized physical therapy programs, collaborating with a team of healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough evaluations of patients physical therapy needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Provide hands-on therapy aimed at improving patient mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing physical function.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on proper exercises, techniques, and post-care instructions to promote recovery.
  • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Supervise and mentor support staff and interns as needed.
  • Stay current with physical therapy best practices through continuing education.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of clinical experience preferred; new graduates are welcome to apply.
  • Licensure/Certification:
  • Licensed Physical Therapist (PT) in [State] or eligibility for licensure.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire.
