Hours/Day: 12 hours

FTE: 0.75 (60 Hours Per Pay Period)

Weekend Requirements: As Needed

Hourly Range: $33.26/hour - $49.88/hour

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Ultrasound Technologist to join our team in Robbinsdale, Minnesota. The Ultrasound Technologist will provide optimal ultrasound exams and/or procedures in an efficient and safe manner, assisting physicians with accurate diagnosis. The ideal candidate will have experience working with a diverse population, including neonates, infants, children, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform ultrasound procedures, including abdominal, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular exams.
  • Apply critical thinking to identify and respond to emergent situations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records, ensuring confidentiality.
  • Utilize imaging and hospital computer systems effectively.
  • Collaborate with physicians, co-workers, patients, and families in a professional manner.
  • Assist with the acquisition and maintenance of IAC accreditation for the Heart and Vascular Institute (HVI) Vascular Lab.
  • Participate in professional development and maintain required clinical knowledge, skills, and credentials.
  • Perform QA data collection and maintain procedure logs.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited Sonography program - Required.
  • 1-5 years of experience - Preferred.
  • RDMS Registered or Registry Eligible within 2 years of graduation - Required.
  • BLS Certification - Required.
  • RVT Registered or Registry Eligible within 12 months for HVI Vascular applicants - Required.

Certification Requirements:

  • BLS
  • ACLS

State License Requirements:

  • Minnesota
