Shift Times: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (open to 8 or 10-hour shifts with various start and end times depending on shift hours)
Weekend Requirements: Based on case load, may constitute overtime if needed
Salary: $70,720 - $83,200 (based on a 40-hour work week)
Relocation: Possible, discussed at interview
Licensure Reimbursement: Available after 90 days of employment
Role Overview:
The Mobile Ultrasound Sonographer will provide mobile ultrasound services to various locations such as nursing homes, home care facilities, prisons, and processing sites. The sonographer will be responsible for transporting and performing diagnostic ultrasound exams using portable equipment. The candidate must maintain a professional demeanor while ensuring the accurate and efficient delivery of diagnostic images.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport and unload portable sonographic equipment to and from locations.
- Perform and process ultrasounds using portable equipment and digitally send the images to a Radiologist for interpretation.
- Ensure clinically diagnostic, technically competent images are obtained.
- Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents per protocol on a daily basis.
- Maintain regular communication with peers, management, dispatch, and clients to ensure effective operations.
Physical Demands:
- Sonographers will be required to lift the Equipment Bag (18-20 lbs.) in and out of a vehicle or wheeled cart. The cart may need to be pulled up to 250 feet, requiring an initiating force of 10 lbs. and sustained force of 5 to 8 lbs.

Submission Requirements:
- Certification: ARDMS or CCI certification in Vascular Ultrasound (RVT, RVS, or R.T.(VS))
- Must be registered in Vascular Ultrasound, dual modalities (General, Echo) are a plus.
- Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound technology program.
- Must maintain required certifications, health requirements, and state licensure.
- COVID-19 vaccination is mandatory (exemptions may be considered with proper documentation).
- Maintain a valid drivers license in good standing.
