Location: Temple, TX

Shift: Full-Time, 12-Hour Days

Shift Start Time: 7:00 AM

Shift End Time: 7:00 PM

Shifts per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $32 - $53

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Trauma PCU team in our Intermediate Care Unit. This full-time position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic and challenging environment, caring for post-ICU trauma patients, those with complex surgical needs, and more. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nursing care to trauma and surgical patients in the Progressive Care Unit.
  • Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement treatments based on patient conditions.
  • Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans accordingly.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care.
  • Educate patients and families on the care plan and expected outcomes.
  • Participate in unit-based performance improvement initiatives to ensure the highest standards of care.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Current and valid nursing license.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire.
  • Experience in Trauma or Med/Surg nursing is highly preferred.
