Location: Temple, TX

Shift: Full-Time, 12-Hour Nights

Shift Start Time: 7:00 PM

Shift End Time: 7:00 AM

Shifts per Week: 3

Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week

Hourly Rate: $32 - $53

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join the brand-new Transitional Care Unit at our healthcare facility. This fast-paced, 10-bed unit offers the opportunity to work with a variety of patients and medical conditions. As an RN in this department, you will play a critical role in diagnosing, monitoring, and treating patients within a 36-hour care window. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional nursing care to patients in the Transitional Care Unit.
  • Assess patient needs, create individualized care plans, and implement treatments as needed.
  • Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient care.
  • Monitor and adjust patient care plans based on changes in condition.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement (CQI) initiatives.
  • Adhere to hospital policies and maintain high standards of patient safety.

Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
  • Current and valid nursing license.
  • BLS certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire).
  • Experience in Med/Surg nursing is strongly preferred.
