Hourly Rate: Up to $33.94 per hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated Radiologic Technologist for a full-time day shift position. The role involves performing diagnostic imaging procedures to assist in the diagnosis and treatment of patients. You will be working closely with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, ensuring patient safety, comfort, and the accuracy of imaging results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of radiologic procedures as prescribed by physicians.
  • Operate radiology equipment and ensure high-quality imaging for diagnostic purposes.
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and proper exposure.
  • Ensure adherence to safety protocols, including radiation safety and infection control measures.
  • Accurately maintain patient records and document imaging results in line with departmental procedures.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide timely and accurate diagnostic information.
  • Provide clear communication to patients about procedures and address any questions or concerns.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning, reporting any issues for repair or maintenance.
  • Participate in ongoing quality control and continuous improvement initiatives within the department.

Requirements:

  • Graduate of an accredited two-year Radiologic Technology training program approved by the Council of Medical Education of the AMA.
  • Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • Must obtain ARRT registration within one year if registry eligible upon hire.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working as a Radiologic Technologist is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and the healthcare team.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
  • Proficient in using radiology equipment and medical software systems.
