Shift End Time: 7:00 AM
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $35.65 to $47.64, depending on experience and qualifications
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) to join our nursing leadership team. As a CNC, you will ensure high-quality, patient-centered care by coordinating all functions of the unit during your shift. You will collaborate with other members of the management team to direct, monitor, and evaluate nursing care, serving as a resource for staff and modeling the organization's vision, mission, and values. Your leadership will contribute to an exceptional patient experience and drive improved clinical outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient patient throughput and high-quality care.
- Participate in the ongoing assessment of patient care quality, collaborating with the management team.
- Foster teamwork and collaboration to improve outcomes and patient service.
- Support patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
- Support facility initiatives to improve employee engagement, including employee rounding and hourly rounds.
- Provide input on interviewing, selecting, training, and developing new staff members.
- Manage staff scheduling and practical aspects of labor in line with patient care needs and productivity guidelines.
- Assist with inventory control and management of supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical practice in the specialty area of the unit.
- Leadership or management experience in an acute care setting required.
- Experience in a Level I Trauma acute care hospital leading a team preferred.
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 30 days of employment.
