Job Description:
The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for providing mobile X-ray and EKG services to nursing homes, healthcare facilities, and other miscellaneous facilities. You will operate portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images and assist in delivering patient care across multiple locations. This role is essential in ensuring that patients receive timely diagnostic services in a variety of settings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-rays using portable digital (DR) or computed (CR) radiography equipment.
- Submit and transmit X-ray images to Radiologists for interpretation.
- Transport and unload portable X-ray equipment and perform exams as ordered by physicians.
- Perform EKGs (if applicable) and transmit results to Cardiologists for interpretation.
- Scan and submit exam-related paperwork and billing documents daily.
- Communicate regularly with dispatch, management, and peers in a professional and efficient manner.
- Maintain equipment, including vehicles and X-ray equipment, ensuring proper care and function.

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to push/pull equipment weighing 50-100 lbs. While vehicle ramps and pulleys are provided, equipment weight can increase in certain environments.
- 50 lbs. of force or more may be required up to 16 to 24 times per day.
Submission Requirements:
- Applicants must hold a valid state license and/or ARRT certification.
- Maintain health and operational requirements.
- A valid drivers license in good standing is required.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required. Those seeking an exemption must provide appropriate documentation.
