Position Overview:
This position is based in a prison facility and requires providing mobile X-Ray and EKG services to various healthcare settings, including nursing homes and other facilities. As a Mobile X-Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for performing and processing X-rays using portable digital radiography (DR) or computed radiography (CR) equipment. Additionally, you may perform EKGs if applicable and ensure that images are clinically diagnostic and technically competent for interpretation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform and process X-rays using portable equipment and submit images to Radiologists for interpretation.
- Unload and transport portable X-ray equipment into healthcare facilities.
- Perform EKGs and transmit results to Cardiologists for interpretation as required.
- Scan and submit exam-related paperwork/billing documents per protocol.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with dispatch, management, and clients.
- Maintain the vehicle and X-ray equipment to ensure readiness and reliability.
- Regularly update management on daily operations and challenges.

Physical Demands:
- Must be able to push/pull 50 100 lbs., with use of vehicle ramps and pulleys reducing this weight.
- Requires 50 lbs. of force for pushing/pulling equipment in facilities or homes, occurring 16 to 24 times a day.
Certification Requirements:
- ARRT
- State License Requirements: California (limited licenses not accepted)
