Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week

Hourly Rate: Up to $38.00, depending on experience and qualifications

Job Overview:

The Cardiac Catheterization Technician plays a vital role in assisting with cardiac procedures in the catheterization lab. This position involves operating imaging equipment, monitoring patient vitals, and supporting cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in performing cardiac catheterization procedures, including angiograms and stent placements.
  • Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to capture high-quality images of the cardiovascular system.
  • Monitor patient vital signs and comfort throughout procedures, ensuring a safe environment.
  • Collaborate with cardiologists and healthcare team members to facilitate efficient workflow and patient care.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal functionality.
  • Document and report findings accurately in the patients medical records.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate from an accredited School of Radiologic Technology required.
  • Licensed by the Kansas Board of Healing Arts as a Radiologic Technologist required.
  • Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.
  • CPR/BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
  • 1 year of experience as a Radiologic Technologist preferred but not required.
