Shift: Night 7PM- 7AM (Rotating Weekends)
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $31.55 to $45.07, depending on experience and qualifications
Job Overview:
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Behavioral Health Unit, you will be part of a dedicated team providing cutting-edge care for patients with behavioral health needs. This full-time night shift role is part of a team that provides inpatient, outpatient, and emergency services for children, adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients. You will play a crucial role in patient care, medication administration, wound care, and vital sign monitoring, while ensuring well-coordinated care between various healthcare disciplines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer prescribed medications, change dressings, clean wounds, and monitor patient vital signs.
- Utilize computerized documentation systems to monitor, record, and communicate patient conditions.
- Serve as the primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
- Coordinate patient discharge planning with the healthcare team.
- Provide compassionate care in a safe environment, adhering to nonviolent crisis intervention protocols.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse (RN) licensure required.
- Registered Nurse Diploma required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment.
- Nonviolent Crisis Intervention certification required within 60 days of employment.
- Candidates with LTAC (Long-Term Acute Care) experience who are interested in behavioral health will be considered.
