Location: Round Rock, TX

Shift: 12-Hour Nights, 3 Shifts Per Week (36 Hours)

Shift Times: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hourly Rate: $32.00 - $53.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus: $15,000

Job Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) night shift team. The RN will be responsible for coordinating the delivery of nursing care to critically ill patients, including those who are post-operative, on ventilators, post-cardiac arrest, and more. This role is vital in ensuring the hemodynamic stabilization and overall care of patients in the ICU. The ICU consists of both Medical ICU (MICU) and Cardiovascular ICU (CVICU) patients, with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 1:1 to 1:3, depending on patient acuity.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality, compassionate care for critically ill patients in the ICU and Intermediate Care (IMC) units
  • Monitor, assess, and respond to patients' critical needs in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Utilize advanced nursing skills for ventilator care, cardiac monitoring, and hemodynamic stabilization
  • Serve as an advocate for patients and their families, providing education and emotional support
  • Adhere to all policies, procedures, and regulations to ensure patient safety and compliance with nursing standards

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program
  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (must be obtained within 30 days of hire)
  • Minimum of 1 year of ICU nursing experience required, 2 years preferred
