Location: Plano, Texas
Shift: 12-Hour Nights (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Shifts Per Week: 3
Scheduled Hours: 36
Hourly Rate: $32 - $53 per hour
Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated RN with a minimum of 2 years of oncology experience to join the Surgical Oncology team in Plano, Texas. The RN will provide care to patients in a 32-bed unit focused on medical and surgical oncology, plastic surgery, microvascular surgery, and palliative care. The ideal candidate must be Chemo certified and passionate about providing compassionate, patient-centered care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, conduct assessments, and create individualized care plans for oncology patients.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and safety throughout treatment.
- Administer chemotherapy and biotherapies to patients, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
- Develop and maintain therapeutic relationships with patients and their families, providing emotional support and education.
- Participate in the ongoing evaluation of nursing practices, making adjustments to care plans as needed.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment for patients and staff.

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an Accredited Nursing Program.
- Minimum 2 years of oncology nursing experience.
- Chemo certified.
- Current and valid nursing license.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or obtained within 30 days of hire.
