Location: Round Rock, TX
Shift: Full-Time, 12-Hour Night Shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), 3 Shifts Per Week (36 Hours Total)
Salary Range: $32 - $53 per hour, based on experience
Job Overview:
We are seeking passionate and skilled Registered Nurses to join our growing Cardiac Acute Care Unit as part of our exciting hospital expansion in Round Rock, Texas. As an RN in the Cardiac Acute Care Unit, you will provide comprehensive and compassionate care to patients with cardiac conditions, using your expertise to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct detailed assessments of patients with acute cardiac conditions, recognizing and responding to their health needs
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, adjusting treatments as necessary to meet patient needs
- Administer medications and therapies in accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols
- Provide education and support to patients and their families about cardiac health, treatment plans, and lifestyle changes
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient care and seamless communication
- Maintain accurate and timely medical records in compliance with hospital policies and standards
- Utilize critical thinking and problem-solving skills to respond to changes in patient conditions
- Foster a therapeutic environment by building professional relationships with patients and their families
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of excellence in patient care
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
- Strong understanding of cardiac care and nursing standards
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Proficiency in electronic medical documentation and basic computer skills
- Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
