Job Title: Director of Cardiovascular Services

Location: Sanford, FL

Shift: Full-Time, 12-Hour Day Shifts (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM), 3 Shifts Per Week (36 Hours Total)

Salary Range: $110,000 - $135,000 per year, based on experience

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Director of Cardiovascular Services to lead our comprehensive Cardiac Catheterization and Electrophysiology (EP) programs. In this role, you will provide 24-hour accountability for all operational, clinical, and administrative aspects of the department, ensuring high-quality patient care. Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide leadership and oversight for the Cardiac Cath Lab and EP services, ensuring high standards of clinical practice and patient care
  • Ensure adequate staffing, competency, and resource management for effective service delivery
  • Manage departmental resources, including physical space, equipment, protocols, and standards
  • Oversee staff performance, offering regular feedback, coaching, and conducting timely performance reviews
  • Collaborate with physicians and clinical departments to provide integrated care and foster a team-based approach
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain quality of services, equipment, and staffing levels
  • Develop and manage departmental budgets, ensuring cost-effective operations
  • Support and engage with physicians as key customers and stakeholders
  • Oversee training and continuing education for staff to ensure high competency in delivering services

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in a related field
  • Must hold one of the following credentials: RN, APRN, RCIS, or Radiologic Tech (RT)
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of recent managerial experience in a Cath Lab or EP department in an acute care hospital setting, preferably a trauma center
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with a proven ability to manage teams effectively
  • Experience in a complex, high-volume cardiovascular program preferred
