Shift: 8-Hour Days (Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM)
Shifts Per Week: 5
Scheduled Hours: 40 hours per week
Hourly Rate: $33 - $48
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and certified Nuclear Med Technologist to join our outpatient clinic in Grapevine, Texas. In this role, you will perform high-quality nuclear medicine and PET procedures while ensuring patient safety and satisfaction. You will work collaboratively with physicians, nursing partners, and other team members to deliver top-tier patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform nuclear medicine, PET, and theranostic procedures (planar, SPECT, SPECT/CT) with precision and efficiency.
- Maintain equipment through routine quality control and compliance with manufacturer and regulatory standards.
- Communicate effectively with patients, providing clear instructions and assessing their ability to undergo procedures.
- Ensure patient safety by adhering to all radiation safety protocols and infection control measures.
- Safely administer radiopharmaceuticals and educate patients on radiation safety techniques.
- Collaborate with the medical team and ensure timely transfer of patient images to the PACS system for review.
- Monitor patient conditions during procedures and communicate any changes to the appropriate team members.
Required Certifications:
- ARRT-N (Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist).
