Shift Times: 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM
Hours: Full-Time, 3 12-hour shifts
Weekend Requirements: Every other weekend (7:00 AM - 7:00 PM)
On Call Requirements: 2-3 nights per week
Hourly: $30.00 - $45.00
Annually: $62,400 - $93,600
Commencement Bonus: Up to $20,000
Relocation Bonus: Up to $17,500 (for candidates beyond 100 miles)
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) to join our healthcare team. The RCP will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings, serving a diverse patient population across all age groups. You will work with advanced equipment, including Drager ventilators and Vapotherm high-flow oxygen systems, and assist in managing respiratory emergencies and patient transports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide age-appropriate respiratory care to patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings.
- Administer therapies such as ventilator management, high-flow oxygen, and Bipap V60 support.
- Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) analysis using GEM equipment.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to deliver patient-centered care.
- Assist in patient transports and respiratory emergencies as needed.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in the Meditech EMR system.
- Participate in continuing education programs to stay current with evidence-based practices in respiratory care.
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- New graduates are welcome and will be trained.
- 2 years of acute care hospital experience required; critical access hospital experience preferred.
- Must be clinically independent and able to work with patients of all age groups.
- Education: Graduate from an approved and accredited Respiratory Care program.
- Licensure: Current New Hampshire Respiratory Care License/Registration required.
- Certifications:
- BLS (AHA): Required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support): Required or eligible for certification.
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program): Required or must obtain within 6 months of hire.
