Salary Range: Up to $22/hour (based on experience)

Job Overview:
The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) will perform a range of clinical support tasks under the supervision of the Office Nurse or Physician. The CMA must exhibit professionalism, maintain confidentiality, and reflect a caring nature in handling patients. This role requires emotional stability and the ability to handle stressful situations calmly. The position also entails maintaining cleanliness and order within the workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform blood draws, injections, child immunizations, and lab tests.
- Assist physicians during patient examinations, taking vitals such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration.
- Maintain clean and stocked exam rooms with necessary supplies.
- Handle patient phone calls and provide instructions as directed by the Physician.
- Manage medical records and assist with referral forms, lab slips, and documentation.
- Assist patients during exams, preparing them as necessary and aiding with procedures.
- Collaborate with other team members and assist in additional areas as needed.
